Joseph Ordonez (Joe) was born on July 17, 1939 in Colma CA to Jose P. and Emma Ordonez. While surrounded by his loving sons, Joe peacefully passed away early in the morning of July 30, 2012. Joe was a native Californian who lived in San Mateo County his whole life. Joe graduated from Jefferson High School in 1957. Served in the U.S. Army for two years and stationed at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. Joe was a Teamster for 29 years.
Joe is survived by his mother, Emma T. Ordonez, sons, Ted, Jeff and Tim (Sara) and his baby girl, granddaughter Jessica. Joe was the oldest of five children and is survived by siblings Rosemarie Ortega, Dan Ordonez, Debbie Del Sarto and Robin Green plus many other family members.
Joe enjoyed retirement over the last decade. He loved to golf, frequent farmers markets, enjoyed a casino or two, sports, and the horse races. Joe cherished his time with his granddaughter and loved being surrounded by his family and fishing with his sons. Joe's stunning smile, sense of humor and many beloved sayings and quotes will be missed but remembered fondly by all who knew him.
