Dr. Edgardo Vera Julian, M.D. died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 3, 2012. He was born on August 23, 1920 to Marcelino and Marciana Vera Julian in the Philippines. Dr. Julian graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Medicine and retired in 1981 from the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Quezon City as head of their Department of Pulmonary Diseases. He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 1/2 years, Trinidad Julian, his daughters, Rhodora Clemente and her husband Ed Clemente, Mary Ann Asistin and her husband Chito Asistin, Bing Mantegna, June Julian, and Theresa Julian and her husband, David Aguirre. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Cecile Clemente-Ocampo, her husband Mark and children Diego and Pablo, Christopher Clemente, his wife Julie and their children Miguel, Isa and Luis, Christine Clemente, Ryan Asistin, Joshua Aguirre, Ria Aguirre and Isabelle Asistin.
